Homemade granola
Ingredients:
- 230 g (8 oz) oats
- 140 g (5 oz) raw almonds
- 120 g (4.2 oz) hazel nuts
- 65 g (2.2 oz) pumpkin seeds
- 40 g (1.5 oz)
- dried coconut
- 75 g (2.5 oz) raisins
- 20g (0.70 oz) ground flax
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 120 ml (4 oz) olive oil
- 120 ml (4 oz) maple syrup
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1 large apple
instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 160°C/320°F.
2. Combine all the dry ingredients in a big bowl.
3. Heat up olive oil and maple syrup in a small pan.
4. Combine the dry ingredients, grated apples, and wet ingredients.
5. Spread it out thinly on a sheet pan and put it in the oven for around 20
minutes.
6. Once golden brown, take it out and let it cool down. Then store in a
container.
7. Enjoy your granola with yoghurt, fresh berries or your preferred milk for a
delicious breakfast or snack.
